Sumptuastic
Sumptuastic is a Polish pop rock band with strong dance influences, formed in 2000 in Bolesławiec. From the beginning, the group’s music combined pop melodicism, dance tempo, and ballad like sensitivity, which helped them reach listeners looking for emotional, slow dance oriented songs. The band was founded by Andrzej Janusz, who remains involved to this day, while the vocal lineup has changed over the years, including singers such as Izabela Tarka, Joanna Iwanowska, Aleksandra Ziora, Magdalena Zguda, and more recently Kamila. Their debut album “…bo to wszystko jest dla Ciebie” was released on 7 July 2003 and sold around 100,000 copies, giving the band nationwide visibility. In 2005 Sumptuastic released...

- Founder Andrzej Janusz has said he created the name Sumptuastic by browsing an English dictionary and modifying the word “sumptuous” into something unique and catchy.
- The debut album “…bo to wszystko jest dla Ciebie” sold around 100,000 copies, which was a strong entrance for a pop dance band originating outside a major city.
- The track “Kołysanka” became one of the best known slow dance songs on Polish dance floors in the early 2000s, strongly associating the band with romantic, ballad type club moments.
- With the single “Za jeden uśmiech twój,” Sumptuastic performed at Sopot Festival 2006, marking a key step into mainstream festival circulation.
