Artist Trivia
- She first became widely recognizable as the original lead singer of Blue Café, recording the albums “Fanaberia” and “Demi-sec,” both of which reached platinum status.
- After leaving Blue Café, she did not move into a simple mainstream pop formula, because her first solo album was described as a blend of modern pop, R&B and soul.
- In the title song “On My Own,” she also debuted as a composer, so she was not functioning only as a vocalist interpreting ready-made material.
- In her solo career she worked with musicians such as Tim Hutton, Wyclef Jean and Lenny White, which gives her catalogue an unusually international edge for a Polish mainstream singer.
