Tides From Nebula were formed in Warsaw in 2008 and quickly developed a recognizable instrumental post rock language built on atmosphere, emotion and a progressive approach to arrangement. The first major milestone in their story was the 2009 album “Aura”, which Lou & Rocked Boys says was enthusiastically received by both critics and listeners, while “Teraz Rock” ranked the band as the fourth best debut in Poland that year. The next phase brought “Earthshine” in 2011, created in cooperation with Zbigniew Preisner, followed by “Eternal Movement” in 2013, which expanded the more pulsating and energetic side of their sound. In 2016 they released “Safehaven”, an important album also because the band produced it...

The band’s line up stayed stable until the end of 2018, when Adam Waleszyński left and Tides From Nebula shifted from a quartet to a trio.
Their 2011 album “Earthshine” was created in cooperation with Zbigniew Preisner, which is a rather unusual creative connection for a post rock band.
“Safehaven” was a particularly important record because the band produced it themselves and kept full control over the material.
“From Voodoo to Zen”, released in 2019, was their first full album as a trio and the official bio describes it as their most epic and richest sounding project up to that point.
