Twenty One Pilots
Twenty One Pilots are an American musical duo from Columbus, Ohio, consisting of frontman Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun since 2011. The band was formed in 2009, with early lineups including college friends Nick Thomas and Chris Salih before Joseph and Dun became the definitive core. Joseph came up with the name after studying Arthur Miller’s play "All My Sons", in which a businessman’s decision to send faulty parts leads to the deaths of twenty one pilots in World War II, a story he saw as a metaphor for moral choices and consequences.
