Afromental

Afromental was founded in 2004 in Olsztyn by Tomasz Lach and Wojciech Łozowski. From the start, the band operated at the intersection of rock, rapcore and hip-hop, while often moving into pop, R&B and more radio-friendly songwriting in practice. Its first visible successes came before the debut album, when the group appeared at young-artist showcases and festivals, then began building recognition through the singles that led into “The Breakthru”. In 2007, the band released that debut album, and soon afterward it also appeared in Poland’s Eurovision national selection with “Thing We’ve Got”.
