Feel
Feel is a Polish pop band with strong pop rock influences, formed in Katowice in 2005 by singer, guitarist, composer and songwriter Piotr Kupicha. The line up also includes bassist Michał Nowak, keyboardist Łukasz Kożuch and drummer Michał Opaliński, and this four piece configuration has remained stable for many years, which is one of the band’s distinguishing features on the mainstream Polish scene. Before adopting the name Feel they performed under several monikers including Q2, Q3, Q4 and Kupicha Band, recording songs but not releasing official singles or albums, which illustrates a long process of shaping the project before its breakthrough. Artist Trivia
- Before arriving at its final form, the band went through several name changes, performing as Q2, Q3, Q4 and Kupicha Band before settling on the name Feel.
- The debut album „Feel” spent a total of 87 weeks on the OLiS sales chart, a result rarely achieved by Polish mainstream pop releases.
- The single „A gdy jest już ciemno” won both the Amber Nightingale and the Audience Nightingale at the Sopot Festival, meaning the band captured both jury and audience recognition at once.
