Piotr Kupicha
Piotr Janusz Kupicha is a Polish singer, guitarist, composer and songwriter, best known as the frontman and lead vocalist of the pop band Feel, one of the most recognizable radio acts in Poland since the late 2000s. He was born on 16 March 1979 in Tychy in the industrial Silesia region and grew up in an environment where local bands and live shows were a natural entry point into music. Between 2000 and 2004 he served as guitarist and vocalist of the group Sami, releasing an album with them and winning the Superjedynka award at the Opole festival, which gave him his first major nationwide exposure. Artist Trivia
- Before founding Feel, Kupicha recorded two albums with the band Sami and won the Superjedynka award at the Opole festival with them, a chapter often overshadowed by Feel’s later success.
- Prior to Feel there was a project called Kupicha Band, which he himself describes as the seed that eventually „turned into” Feel, highlighting the continuity of his creative path.
- With Feel he won both the Amber Nightingale and the Audience Nightingale awards at the 2007 Sopot Festival, which effectively sealed the band’s status as a new star of Polish pop.
- Outside of music he is a certified mountaineer and recreation instructor specializing in rock climbing, showing a completely different, mountain oriented side of his personality.
