Artist Trivia
- Frontside was among the first Polish bands to consistently mix hardcore and metal at a time when such a blend was still considered “sacrilegious” on the local scene.
- Band leader Mariusz “Demon” Dzwonek originally played drums in Frontside before switching to guitar, remaining the main driving force of the group.
- Vocalist Marcin “Auman” Rdest joined after an early-2000s line-up crisis, and his powerful, distinctive vocals became one of the pillars of Frontside’s metalcore-era identity.
- The album “Zmierzch bogów: Pierwszy krok do mentalnej rewolucji” was also released in English as “Twilight of the Gods (A First Step to the Mental Revolution)”, signaling the band’s ambition to reach beyond the Polish market.
