Kancelarya was founded in 1991 in Gdańsk as a pop-rock band built around Tadeusz Rząca. At the very beginning of its activity, the group entered the Radio Gdańsk studio and recorded several songs there, including “Zabiorę Cię”, which would later become its signature hit. In its first phase, the band built a melodic, radio-friendly pop-rock repertoire, while Rząca handled not only vocals and guitar but also the music and arrangements. That authorship continuity is one of the reasons Kancelarya retained a recognizable stylistic core despite lineup changes. Artist Trivia

Kancelarya’s biggest hit, “Zabiorę Cię”, comes from the band’s very earliest period and was already recorded in 1991, not only after the group became more widely recognized.
The song “Zabiorę Cię” gained a second life thanks to the TV series “39 i pół”, where it was performed by actor Tomasz Karolak, introducing it to a newer generation of listeners.
In 2021, the band did not simply revisit its best-known song, but re-recorded it and released it again as an official music video, showing a deliberate effort to refresh its own catalog.
The new version of “Zabiorę Cię” featured, alongside Tadeusz Rząca, musicians linked to different eras of the band, including Jacek Urbański, Sławek Sobczyk, Mariusz Wala and Wojtek Bylica.
