Kombii is a Polish pop-rock band formed in 2003 by three former members of Kombi, namely Grzegorz Skawiński, Waldemar Tkaczyk, and Jan Pluta. The new group was created without Sławomir Łosowski, the leader and creator of the historic Kombi, which is why it began operating under the modified name Kombii, spelled with two “i”s, a distinction that remains central to the band’s identity. Its origins are therefore directly tied to the story of one of the most important Polish pop and synth-pop bands, but Kombii developed as a separate chapter, with its own repertoire, its own stage direction, and a new phase in the careers of Skawiński and his collaborators.
