Leniwiec

Leniwiec was formed in 1994 in Jelenia Góra and from the beginning built its sound at the meeting point of punk, reggae and ska, later opening much more clearly toward folk as well. The band’s core figure remains Zbigniew “Mucha” Muczyński, who the official website identifies not only as singer and guitarist, but also as the main writer, organizer and day to day driving force behind the group. For its first years, Leniwiec developed mainly as a live act, and its real recording breakthrough came only with the 2001 album “Z tarczą lub na tarczy”.
