Miloopa

Miloopa is a Wrocław-based Polish band formed in the winter of 2001, built from the beginning around a fusion of jazz sensitivity, club energy and modern electronics. Its origin was highly organic, because everything started with jam sessions at the Wagon club, where musicians from different parts of Poland met during an improvised gig and decided a few months later to turn that chemistry into a regular band. At an early stage, Miloopa played more melodic material rooted in broken drum and bass grooves, but even then it was clear the project would be neither a conventional jazz band nor a typical club act.
