Niechęć

Niechęć is a Warsaw-based jazz and alternative improvising band whose documented history goes back at least to 2008. From the beginning, the group worked at the intersection of jazz, cinematic music, post-rock-like narrative structure and open improvisation, building a sound clearly distinct from mainstream jazz formulas. Its first official release was the self-titled EP in 2010, but the real breakthrough into a wider audience came with the 2012 album “Śmierć w miękkim futerku.” Later milestones included the 2016 album “Niechęć” and 2022’s “Unsubscribe,” showing a band that develops on its own timeline rather than following the pace typical of more market-driven projects.
