Renata Przemyk

Renata Przemyk is a Polish singer, composer and lyricist, one of the most distinctive figures in Polish authorial and alternative song since the late 1980s. Born in Bielsko-Biała and trained in Czech philology, she has built her artistic identity at the intersection of rock, lyrical songwriting, alternative music and, in later phases, ethnically inflected sounds. Her musical beginnings go back to 1985, when she sang in the rock-jazz band Rewizja.
