Artist Trivia
- Spaceslug was formed by musicians who had previously played in Palm Desert, Legalize Crime, and Mir, so the band grew out of a local heavy music background but quickly developed its own identity.
- On Bandcamp, the group calls itself “Galactic Travelers,” a phrase that neatly captures the cosmic and dreamlike side of its aesthetic.
- During the first lockdown, the musicians wrote material that later became the 2020 EP “Leftovers.”
- The band recorded its own version of Pink Floyd’s “Don’t Leave Me Now” for the tribute album “The Wall Redux,” released by Magnetic Eye Records.
