Enej
Enej is a Polish rock folk band blending elements of folk, rock, ska, punk, and broadly defined alternative music, founded in 2002 in Olsztyn by brothers Piotr and Paweł Sołoducha and their friend Łukasz Kojrys, who remains the band’s manager. The official website emphasizes that from the very beginning the idea was to combine energetic, guitar driven playing with a strong Slavic folk component, both in music and in lyrics. - The name Enej is taken from Ivan Kotlyarevsky’s “Eneida,” with the cheerful Cossack traveller Eney serving as a symbolic patron for a band that always wanted to connect different traditions.
