Sunnata is a Warsaw-based four-piece formed in 2013, and from the start it built its identity beyond simple stoner or sludge classifications. The band’s official website describes its music as heavy ritual music, shaped by the fusion of heaviness, dark psychedelia, grunge-infused vocals, and trance-inducing, immersive atmosphere. It also matters that Sunnata did not emerge out of nowhere, because the band evolved from the earlier project Satellite Beaver.
