Artist Trivia
- The band attracted attention almost immediately, because after its Jarocin 1986 debut it was invited to the laureates’ concert and then to studio recordings.
- After the earliest phase, Jerzy Durał took over as frontman and vocalist, even though he had originally been the bassist, and he had also been the band’s lyric writer from the start.
- Later in 1986, Ziyo won the Mokotowska Jesień festival, and the prize was a recording session for Polish Radio Program III.
- The debut album Ziyo, released in 1989, sold 180,000 copies, a very strong result for a young Polish rock band at the end of the 1980s.
