Adam Domurat is a Polish conductor, pianist, composer and educator based in Poznań. He is a co-founder, artistic director and conductor of CoOperate Orchestra. His work encompasses symphonic, contemporary, theatrical and film music, combining institutional artistic work with large-scale concert projects and academic teaching. The Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań currently lists him as holding a doctorate and serving as an assistant professor at its Institute of Jazz and Popular Music. He graduated from the Poznań Academy of Music in two disciplines: symphonic conducting with Professor Jerzy Salwarowski and piano with Professor Alicja Kledzik. He has received awards in both fields. He graduated in both symphonic conducting and piano, giving him a background as an instrumental performer as well as an orchestral leader.
His conducting debut was connected with contemporary music: Artur Kroschel’s “Expectatio”.
