Bass Astral x Igo

Bass Astral x Igo was a Polish electronic duo from Kraków, formed in 2015 by Jakub Tracz and Igor Walaszek. The project combined Bass Astral’s producer-driven electronic approach with Igo’s highly recognizable voice, and it quickly became one of the most visible Polish alternative duos of the second half of the 2010s. The roots of the duo go back to the musicians’ earlier collaboration in Clock Machine. That background matters, because Bass Astral x Igo was not a random pairing of producer and singer, but the next stage of an already established artistic relationship that had first developed within a rock band.
