L.Stadt

L.Stadt is a rock band from Łódź, formed in 2003, and widely regarded as one of the more interesting names in 21st-century Polish alternative music. The group is most often described as blending alternative rock with surf rock, psychedelia and, at certain points, country influences as well. Although the musicians met in Strasbourg, the band itself was formed in Łódź. From the outset, what set L.Stadt apart was not loyalty to one fixed sound, but a willingness to evolve and move naturally across different guitar-based traditions.
