Marta Milan
Marta Milan is a Polish pop singer born in 1983 in Białystok, best known as the vocalist of the band Ich Troje between 2013 and 2017 and as an artist working internationally between Poland and the United States. She studied singing and acting at the Anna German School of Performing Arts in Białystok and later at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, gaining solid stage training in the US system. In the United States she recorded her first songs with Scorpions bassist Paweł Mąciwoda, appeared in Steven Kalvar’s play „Perfidia” at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre, acted in independent films („Engaging”, „Band of Outsiders”, „Dirty Salsa”) and took...
Artist Trivia
- Before joining Ich Troje, she spent several years developing her career in the US, combining acting and vocal training with work in advertising and independent films, which is quite unusual for Polish pop singers.
- She won Karaoke Idol USA in 2009 and became a finalist of The New Wave Singing Competition in Helsinki around the same time, giving her early international recognition.
- In New York she recorded her first songs with Scorpions bassist Paweł Mąciwoda, a rare collaboration in the biography of a Polish pop vocalist.
- She appeared in Steven Kalvar’s play „Perfidia” at Manhattan Repertory Theatre, performing in the heart of New York’s theatre scene before becoming known in Poland through Ich Troje.
