Przemysław Gintrowski
Przemysław Gintrowski was born in 1951 in Stargard Szczeciński, but spent nearly all of his life connected with Warsaw. There he completed secondary school, engineering studies at the Warsaw University of Technology, and developed his musical career in parallel. His artistic breakthrough came in 1976 when he won a student song review at Warsaw’s Riviera venue with “Epitafium dla Sergiusza Jesienina.” A few years later, in 1979, he formed the trio with Jacek Kaczmarski and Zbigniew Łapiński that created the program “Mury.” “Mury” quickly became more than a poetic stage program.
