Świetliki

Świetliki was formed in Kraków in October 1992 by Marcin Świetlicki together with musicians previously linked to Trupa Wertera Utrata. From the start, it stood apart from the mainstream by combining rock instrumentation with poetic writing, cold new-wave aesthetics and a highly distinctive vocal delivery. The key figure in the band is Marcin Świetlicki, a poet, vocalist and author of almost all of its lyrics. The group’s co-leader is Grzegorz Dyduch, while Marek Piotrowicz and Tomasz Radziszewski also form part of the long-standing core lineup present from the beginning.
